So I said this was going to be an all MOM made gift guide, right? Well if you know me even just a little bit, you know my motto is "plans are subject to change". When I "met" Daddy Bookins on twitter I just KNEW I had to harras him until he agreeded to submit to being on my list. Thus I give you the "Plus one DAD" portion of the All Mom Made Holiday Gift Guide.

I don't discrimate so Daddy Bookins was subjected to my questioning as well. Here is a little bit about him and how he answered my PROFOUND questions:

Daddy Bookins: Over the past 3+ years I have been learning and living life through the trials and tribulations of raising my only child, lil boo with the lovely mrs.  In doing such, I have always wanted to publish a children’s book.  I never knew what my niche would become, but as a huge fan of Dr. Suess, poems and rhymes – I took this as a perfect opportunity.

A look into "Peas and Bananas: Outside with Lil Boo" 

Peas and Bananas Outside with Lil Boo is an illustrated children’s book based on the creative events experienced through the eyes of Lil Boo.  The events in the first story of a series are based on exploring an array of outdoor adventures from the eyes of a toddler.  Follow Lil Boo and his imaginary friend Onote from the letters A to Z in a fascinating rhyming adventure outside.

Question: If you could take the entire family on vacation where would you go?

Answer: My entire family??? YIKES! For the Holidays, it would have to be slope side, wherever the snow was in abundance.

Q2: What would you do if you had one day you could do anything you wanted?  

Answer: One day, 24 hours, jump on a plane to England and have dinner with Gordon Ramsay at his F-word restaurant!!

She Does it ALL... Lucky for US!

Have you ever met one of those girls that can just do it ALL? They are gorge, have mad skills, more talent in their little pinkie than 90% of the people on the planet and they are so nice you can't even hate them for it? Well let me introduce you to Ashley, she is THAT girl!

Ashley is the owner of Lil Blue Boo a blog and a shop to end all blog-shops. I can't even pick just ONE thing I love from her shop so I forced her to do it. Here are just a few of the amazing, orginal and one of a kind things you'll find her whipping up in between basking in the warmth of the southern California sunshine (not far from my home town).

Here is what Ashley has to say for herself and all her awesomeness:

It is me, my husband Brett, my daughter Sienna (2.5), and a tiny-grumpy-almost-9-year-old yorkie Diesel. We live in Palm Desert, CA where it is brutally hot in the summer time and perfect weather the rest of the year. I am a career-oriented-woman-turned-stay-at-home-mommy and I spend 16 hours a day either making something or thinking about making something! I love creating for my daughter because God blessed me with a little girl that loves painting, drawing and crafting as much as I do. And....I just REALLY like to make stuff.

Ashley also revealed the following under interrogation much like Connie:

Q: You've got Santa's undivided attention, what do you ask for?

A:  Mortgage Payment.. LOL, you didn't give a price limit ;)

Q: That girl who tortured you in high school walks out of the ladies room at your reunion with her dress tucked in her panties, what do you do?

A: I would TOTALLY tell her. I let a young girl walk out of the bathroom at church one time (20 years ago) with skirt tucked into her pantyhose....I have nightmares about it. Our church congregation was about 2000 people. I have to “right” a wrong!!!!
If you sew, first I hate you!.. secondly Ashley also sells patterns and does tutorials! So this Mom Made holiday gift could be a mom made made by mom and given to a mom gift! Go MOM!

Sugar Plums in a JAR!

This entry is sort of like my version of bloggy nepotism. See the owner of this amazing place, a variable land of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Nicole was my first blog sponsor. Meet Connie.. aka Martha if she was COOL!

A little about Connie: I'm a Domestic Goddess and Martha Stewart wanna be, married to an engineer and mother to Irish Twin Toddlers.  I'm passionate about blogging, crafting, cooking and stalking celebrities on twitter.

Everyone featured on the guide was forced to answer my questions, here is what I asked Connie and what she revealed under interrogation.

Q: If you could have all your family join you for a holiday vacation where would you go, why?

A:First of all, I would not have ALL of my family join me anywhere...that is why I joined the Witness Protection Program....but I would take my hubby and kids to Telluride because I would love to sit in a mountain cabin, in front of a fireplace and enjoy some peace and quiet....and then stalk Tom and Katie.

Q: Boxers, Briefs or Commando?

A: Tighty Whities please.
